Prey Dach is a small village that lies approximately ten miles from the provincial capital of Battambang. Prey Dach translates as ‘the end of the forest’. This little village may appear to be the end of the road to some, but for more than 400 children at the Prey Dach Elementary School it is their home.

In 2005 we partnered with Mission of Mercy, now One Child Matters, to provide support to this government primary school. Though we may be limited in all that we can do at this school, we have freedom to touch these precious lives with weekly lessons that emphasize health, nutrition, good morals and Godly living.

Due to the fact that this school is at the end of the road many children would not continue on past sixth grade. Their parents could not afford to send them so far to the junior high or high school. With our support, there are now several students continuing on past sixth grade. This past year the first two students graduated from twelfth grade. What a difference this will make to their future!
